Individual Therapy

Welcome! I know choosing to start therapy is a big step. I also know choosing the right therapist to do this work with you is just as important.

My main goal is to help you grow.

I do this by using my training and experience to work with you to apply evidence-based practices to your particular issues. To ensure that our work is effective, I regularly monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.

Starting this work involves scheduling a time for a free, 20-minute phone call or Zoom meeting to talk and see if we might be a good match.

Because therapy involves a commitment to engaging in deep and difficult work, this is a very personal decision.

Maybe you're feeling stuck, are having a tougher time managing challenges in your life, or you're noticing that you're running into the same problematic patterns and, despite your best efforts, aren't making any progress. These are just some of things that can motivate someone to consider therapy.

The short answer is, it depends. Depending on the issue, therapy could be brief (5 - 10 sessions), several months, or a long-term process lasting several years.

Determining the length of treatment is done through our initial sessions by getting to know you, learning about your particular issue(s) and exploring your goal(s) for therapy.
